What rocks more than a 10-foot guitar?
The Vemma Nutrition Program, that’s what!

For Vemma, deciding that Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona was a worthy cause was easy. So was the finding the right artist to design our GuitarMania 10-foot guitar. Vemma President and Owner, BK Boreyko turned to friend and local artist, Jeff Low. BK’s one instruction? The guitar needed to be unique and look like none of the other guitars.

Having a unique guitar was nothing to worry about with Jeff designing it. Jeff does fine art painting and sculpture and also works as an interior architectural designer for commercial properties. He has worked all over the country and in different parts of the world, adding a unique style to every location. His past work includes the interior design for Cobalt Coast, a diving resort in the Cayman Islands as well as many popular night clubs, including Denim in Philadelphia, Blonde in Kansas City and Six in Scottsdale.

Because he takes the product every morning, Jeff already had the inspiration for a unique 10-foot Vemma guitar. Jeff knew that Vemma rocks! He immediately went to work on a rock and roll design, with a Vemma twist. The concept took shape in the form of an Elvis-inspired jacket with large drops of a Vemma Power Shot running down it. However, as Jeff explains it, the jacket design also needed to have a feminine feel as well since the body of a guitar has a feminine shape.

A 10-foot guitar with a feminine, Elvis-style jacket and large drops of Vemma! Thinking that’s unique enough? Not for Jeff and not for Vemma. To make the guitar truly unique, an ordinary paint job wasn’t going to cut it. Instead, Jeff turned to Charlie Sytek, a master upholsterer. Charlie has worked for Ralph Lauren and even upholstered a fairy tale carriage bed for the daughter of major-league baseball player Curt Schilling. Charlie has produced Jeff’s design using white vinyl, orange plexiglass and rhinestones.

With the help of Jeff and Charlie, there is no doubt that Vemma truly rocks!
